Consta de 22 cartas más folleto con instrucciones en idioma italiano.
La idea de este mazo fue orquestada por Osvaldo Menegazzi, el dueño de il Meneghello, quien publicó la baraja en 1989 como una edición limitada de 2.000 ejemplares numerados a mano.
Losarcanos mayores de 22 Pittori en 22 Arcani representan los 22 Arcanos de 22 Artistas, y es un esfuerzo de colaboración de 22 artistas italianos diferentes, cada uno de una pintura diferente. Muchas cartas conservan su simbología arquetípica, mientras que otras se desvían hacia un territorio totalmente nuevo.
Estilos artísticos van desde la fantasía a surrealista, realista a cómico en estas tarjetas de gran tamaño. No hay tema o hilo que los atan todos juntos. Mientras que la mayoría son a todo color, un par de cartas se representan en negro y blanco o escala de grises. Todas las cartas tienen un título tradicional italiano en la parte inferior de la carta, y un pequeño nombre de artista debajo de la esquina inferior derecha de la ilustración.
Alrededor de 1/3 de las cartas en esta baraja muestran desnudez femenina, pero el Diablo también está muy desnudo, y bastante detallado.
Algunos de los artistas que contribuyeron a este mazo han creado otros tarots, y su estilo es aparente aquí ejemplos son L’Apesso, pintado por Domenico Balbi, y el Le Stelle pintado por Giorgio Tavaglione. El Il Matto, pintado por Giovanni Scarsato, lleva una camiseta con el nombre de la editorial Il Meneghello. Osvaldo Menegazzi ilustró la tarjeta Il Sole (el Sol).

Silvestri.
Todos los nombres de los artistas están grabados en dorado en la portada de la envoltura de cuero, y se enumeran en el folleto acompañante, junto con sus medios artísticos, fecha y lugar de nacimiento. Incluye una carta de título numerada a mano. El acabado del naipe es de alto brillo en ambas caras.

The 22 Pittori in 22 Arcani Trump tarot deck (22 Arcana by 22 Artists) is a collaborative effort by 22 different Italian artists, each painting a different card. Many cards retain their archetypal symbology, while others veer off into entirely new territory. The idea for this deck was orchestrated by Osvaldo Menegazzi, the owner of Edizione il Meneghello, who published the deck in 1989 as a limited edition of 2,000 hand-numbered copies.
Artistic styles range from fantasy to surreal, realistic to comic on these over-sized cards; there is no theme or thread tying them all together. While most are full color, a couple of cards are rendered in black & white or gray scale. All cards have a traditional Italian title at the card bottom, and a small artist name below the right bottom corner of the illustration. About 1/3 of the cards in this deck show female nudity, but the Devil is also very nude, and quite detailed.
Some of the artists who contributed to this deck have created other tarots, and their style is apparent here – examples are L’Apesso (the Hanged Man), painted by Domenico Balbi, and the Le Stelle (The Star) painted by Giorgio Tavaglione. The Il Matto (the Fool), painted by Giovanni Scarsato, wears a shirt bearing the name of the publishing company, Il Meneghello. Osvaldo Menegazzi illustrated Il Sole (the Sun) card.

All artists names are embossed on gold on the front cover of the leather bookcase-style wrap, and listed in the companion booklet, along with their artistic mediums, date & place of birth. 1 hand-numbered title card is included. Card finish is high gloss on card faces, with un-coated tan card backs.
The 15 page Italian booklet also has 1-3 paragraphs of information pertaining to the card itself, which may include divinatory meanings, but there are no layouts.
